Day 5 and 6

For 2 days now I've been working with the details only. Shades in the snow painted with phthalo blue mixed with white.

Same colors for the shading around doors and windows.

The light yellow color on this house wasn't good at all, I changed it. Yellow ocre instead. Shading with burnt umber. Also painted a few icicles hanging from the roof. It's a cold day.

  
Graphite grey, white and black for the wings. Yellow ocre and white for the legs and nebs.
 

Too lazy to fly.

The lady is now dressed in a knitted sweather, mittens, scarf and a shawl. She loves to knit!

She has knitted the sweather and mittens for her friend. He is also wearing a old fashioned leather hat and a vest.

As always: finishing with painting small waves on the water. Looks like small fishes, maybe some of them are?
